A visit fee to find the cause. The repair is quoted after, and you approve it first.
The usual bid type is a starting point. Each provider chooses the price basis of their own bid and states it in words.

- Each bid states its price basis, start, terms, and review window. KWIK3 never marks one as cheapest or best.

- Leave the building and call 911 or your gas utility from outside. Do not start a request first.
- Flooding you cannot stop
- Keep people away from water near electricity. Shut off the main water valve only if it is safe to reach.
- Sewage backing up
- Keep people and pets away from the area. Sewage cleanup is outside what KWIK3 covers.

- Do I need to know what is wrong?
- No. Describe what you see. KWIK3 sorts the job into a service and asks the questions a plumber would ask.
- Why is my bid an estimate or a visit fee?
- Some problems cannot be priced safely from photos. The bid says so in words, and you approve any repair price before work starts.
- Will I always get three bids?
- No. Three is the maximum. If one or two providers bid, you see exactly that.
- When does the plumber get my address?
- After you choose their bid. Before that, providers see your city and ZIP code only.
